The Vagina Monologues, - Boca Raton, Florida

Sharon stars with community participants in Eve Ensler's newly revised The Vagina Monologues at Florida Atlantic University's University Theatre, Boca Raton campus.


The Obie Award-winning The Vagina Monologues consists of individual personal monologues recounted by a diverse group of women. Each deals with an aspect of the feminine experience, such as sex, body image, love, rape, and birth. V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls that was started by Eve Ensler.

Gay Men's Chorus - Hollywood, Florida

Sharon will present an Award at the Gay Men's Chorus concert at The Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Autumn/Fall 2017 (date to be announced)

Casualty - UK broadcast TV

Sharon will star in the first episode of the new season of the British hospital drama Casualty which will premiere on BBC1 this Autumn/Fall. It is the longest-running medical emergency drama in the world.  The series is about life on the wards of Holby City Hospital, following the highs and lows of the staff and patients. 


Sharon's character is Zsa Zsa Harper-Jenkinson, a "maestro of surgery" and former mentor to Dylan.

Reading at Vizcaya - Miami, Florida

Sharon will be reading from Althea Altimus's book Big Bosses: A Working Girl's Memoir of the Jazz Age [at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Althea was a single mother who worked for several "seriously rich" businessmen in Florida and Chicago in the 1920s, including James Deering, who built Vizcaya.

The Human Rights Campaign National Dinner - Washington DC

Sharon will be attending this event. The Human Rights Campaign is the leading national advocacy organization working for the equal rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Americans through education, research and political activities. The HRC National Dinner brings together more than 3,500 HRC members, friends, families and allies for an evening of celebration and inspiration.

The Paley Honors in Hollywood: A Gala Celebrating Women in Television - Hollywood, California

Sharon and dear friend Cagney & Lacey partner Tyne Daly will be guests at this Paley Center for Media event, to be held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. This will be a star-studded evening celebrating groundbreaking and historic contributions across eight decades and a wide array of genres—drama, comedy, news, talk, sports, music, and variety. During the event the Center will bestow a special honor on actress and comedienne Betty White.

The Gifted - US broadcast TV

Sharon will guest star in rX, an all-new episode which will air Monday October 9 on Fox.  The Gifted is an American TV series created for Fox by Matt Nix (Burn Notice), based on Marvel Comics' X-Men. The show stars Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker as ordinary parents who take their family on the run after they discover their children's mutant abilities, and join an underground community of mutants who have to fight to survive.
